Rethinking Self Healing

Q: Tell us a little about yourself

I am an advocate for health, wellness and longevity. I believe great health is everyone’s birthright. Im dedicated to showing people what great health is – strong immunity, balanced digestion, cultivating love and joy.

Q: Tell us about your path to creating your business and your vision

My vision is to be a leader of transformation for health and happiness. My own experience with a tumor on my thyroid 14 years ago along with my background in Ayurveda ha crafted my path of service.

Q: What is your philosophy on healing or overcoming health challenges.

All healing is a result of connecting to the Divine within and reaching a place of balance and bliss from the within. Lifestyle is more important than taking supplements, or doing a cleanse once a year. How you live your life, how you process your experiences and impressions and the health of your relationship with yourself are all huge contributing factors to overcoming health challenges.

Q: How have you used adversity in your life to fuel your commitment to balance and wellness?

I grew up as a child with very little sense of self-worth, self-love or happiness. I’ve experienced many challenges emotionally. As a single mother and entrepreneur, my daily practice is self-care before I begin my workday. This includes self-massage, meditation, exercise and great food. I realize that my sense of wellness and balance comes from my daily routines.

Q: How do you stay healthy, resilient and vibrant?

First thing every morning, connecting the Void, expressing gratitude, self-massage with warm oil, exercise, afternoon meditation, and a short nap, and delicious food. And expressing my love as much as I can.

Q: What tips do you recommend for your clients dealing with / healing from illness?

Focus on four things:

  • Sleep – go to bed by 9:30 p.m. Practice a warm oil foot massage just before bed.
  • Eat fresh seasonal foods – don’t eat leftovers and processed foods.
  • Meditate each day – whether it is with a mantra or being silent in nature and absorbing the energy.
  • Cultivate love – for you and for others.

Q: If there was only one thing a person could find the energy and resources to make a priority what would it be?

Learn to cook healthy, balancing foods. Take lessons from a reputable instructor, learn about your body-mind type, get to know yourself very well. Honor the uniqueness of who you are.

Q: What is your favorite inspirational quote for healing?

“When diet is wrong, medicine is of no use. When diet is correct, medicine is of no need.” Ayurvedic proverb

The human experience is most fulfilling when there is an integration of the body-mind with the spirit. In each of us there is a deep yearning for emotional freedom, health and self-empowerment.  We have a craving to experience our own inner power, beauty, and love. We want to know ourselves as wholesome beings of love, compassion, soul, heart and body. If you are ready to make self-care a non-negotiable everyday practice, I welcome you to the world of timeless wisdom and ancient secrets of Ayurveda. My vision is to guide you in aligning your body and mind.
